In the morning of June 16th, inaugural meeting is held in Huangjia Sheraton Hotel to celebrate the establishment for Jiangsu Yuanlin Charitable Funds, Jiangyin and Jingjiang Elderly University. The member of Jiangsu PPC and Director of MPC of Wuxi City, Mrs.HuangLixin, inaugurated the establishment of Funds with Mr.Ren Yuanlin, the donator of Yuanlin Charitable Funds. Mr.Lin Hang, the Deputy Director of Provincial Civil Affairs Department read out the approval of documentation. The Director of MPC of Taixin City, Mr.Zhong Lei and officials from Jiangyin and Jingjiang, Mr.Jiang Hongliang, Mr.Chen Minguan, Mr.Shen Jian, Mr.Zhao Ye, Mr.Zhao Guoquan, Mr.Xue Liang, Mr.Xu Dongqing and Mr.Yuan Qiuzhong all take part in this ceremony.

An International-connected, Sunny and Objective Charitable FundsJiangsu Yuanlin Charitable Fundsis contributed and established by Ren Yuanlin, the President of our company, and donates his yearly dividend of 1 billion Singapore listed sharesas major capital finance, and the first arrived found is about RMB270 million in 2011.
  
Foundation mainly helps to support old-age utility, technological innovation, disaster relief and other public philanthropic utility. In this year, there are two elderly universities will be established, onein Jiangyin and the other onein Jingjiang. Now, an area of 15000 square meters of Jiangyin elderly university has been in the design, and its scale has 100 classes and can accommodate 5000 people, and is expected to start construction before the Double Ninth Festival, and will be delivered by the end of next year. Jingjiang elderly university has been in site selection. For the next step, foundation will also build elderly universities in Wuxi, Taizhou, Taixing and Taicang City, it will be extended to other regions in and around Jiangsu Province if operated in mature condition. . Foundation will also explore in elderly chronic disease management and rehabilitation and other philanthropy, planning a total of RMB1 billion over the next five years to 8~10 elderly universities, 1~2 geriatric rehabilitation centers.

Charity foundation,  anindividual donation by the Chairman, but not by his management, iscompletely independent and is supervised by the  third party institution. Mr.Liu Jianguo, the Director of MPC ofJingjiang city, is its president. Also, the main members are composed by 5 persons as president, investment expert, design expert and others. Half of the annual donation is used to support philanthropy projects, and the other half will be invested in low risk projects, to make themselves self-generated and realize a virtuous cycle.

On 15th August, chairman said in an interview: "Many foreign people don''''''''t believe that Chinese entrepreneurs can take out all the capital shares for charity.To work on the charity in your own way, to be international-connected, to be operated in a transparent and scientific way and in an objective manner.."

Mr.Ren Yuanlin was born in the 1950s, and experienced very hard life.He became the welder of Jiangyin Shipyard, step by step, then became the president because of his diligent, honest, studious. During the financial crisis in 1998, shipyard was in the brink of bankruptcy,he carried out the reform without hesitation and established the first private shipbuilding holding company in China. In 2007, company was listed in Singapore Stock Market and collected RMB5.5 billion. In 2010, enterprise again was listed in Taiwan Stock Market and collected RMB1 billion. That a great number oflarge and medium-sized containers, bulk carriers were exported to Europe brings out the peak of earning and the sharp increase of Captial, which make the Chairman become the private ship magnate.
On June 15, chairman Mr. Ren Yuanlin accepts interview of various television stations in the province,and the newspaper in NO.1 NYZ hall. He says in the interview: ‘I reached a certain number of personal wealth, if not well play its role, it is just a feeling and symbol. Wealth comes from people and the society, a responsible entrepreneurs must understand sharing and willing to share.’
